Dear Overwhelmed Mom,

Feeling overwhelmed? Stretched thin? Finding it hard to prioritize yourself amidst the chaos of motherhood? You're not alone. It's common to feel like you're constantly juggling, with no time left for yourself. But remember, you deserve peace just as much as anyone else.

Here are a couple tips to help find some balance:

💜Embrace the Power of Boundaries: Set clear boundaries with your time, energy, and emotions. Learn to say no when necessary and don't feel guilty about it. Your well-being matters just as much as everyone else's.

💜Prioritize Self-Care: Carve out time for activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul. Whether it's a bubble bath, a walk in nature, or simply curling up with a good book, make self-care a non-negotiable part of your routine.

💜Seek Support: Let go of the idea that we can do it all. IT’S OK TO ASK FOR HELP. Whether it's from your partner, friends, or a support group, reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. Remember, it takes a village to raise a child, and you don't have to do it all alone.

💜Make Time for Connection: Prioritize quality time with your loved ones. Whether it's playing with your kids, having a heart-to-heart with your partner, or catching up with friends, nurturing your relationships can bring immense joy and fulfillment. If you need some girl time, the quarterly Zen Night Outs (next one is in July) I host are a great way to fill your cup and meet other new women. Women just seem the thrive on connecting with other women.

As a mom of 4 who has had her own share of overwhelm (and still does!), I have found that making sure I am looking within to reclaim my sense of balance and serenity is what helps me a ton! I also make the effort to schedule my self-care because as a mom it’s not a privilege to take care of ourselves, it’s a PRIORITY.

Remember, finding peace is an ongoing journey, not a destination. Be patient with yourself and celebrate the progress you make along the way. You deserve all the love, joy, and peace that life has to offer.

If you need some tips to help guide you on a path toward finding peace in your life and how to fit self-care into it, I have a free scheduling self-care mini guide I’d love to share with you.
